What is a fanlisting you might ask? A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name listed along with other fans of the same subject. Yami no Malik was created by the hate and darkness in Marik's heart when he went through the Tomb Keeper's initiation. He first surfaced when Marik's father was about to kill Odion for allowing Marik to leave the tomb. Yami no Marik killed Mr. Ishtar, and would had killed Odion, but Odion's loyalty to his master allowed Yami no Marik to be suppressed.
Yami no Marik finally reappears a second time on the Battle Ship during the duel between Odion and Joey, which ended in Ra putting Odion in a coma. Unlike the blind revenge-driven Marik, his embodiment of evil exists to plunge the world in everlasting darkness. Yami Marik is ruthless, and will stop at nothing to achieve his goal. Among his victims in his Shadow Games were May (during their duel on the battleship) and Joey (on Kaiba Island during the semi-finales), trapping them in the Shadow Realm. Even Yami no Bakura, with Marik's soul helping him, fell victim to Yami no Marik's Shadow Games.
During the Noah saga, Yami no Marik decided to let Noah and his Big Five deal with Yugi for him. But he got tired of waiting for results, and walked around, causing damage wherever he went. He even destroyed the console that controlled the Kaiba Military Satellite Noah programmed to destroyed his Fortress, before Noah was about to abort it.
During the finals, Yami no Marik arranges a Shadow Game with
Yugi, saying that if he wins, all of Yami no Marik's victims (except Marik)
would be restored. But if Yami no Marik wins, he not only gets Yugi's God Cards
and Puzzle, but sends Yugi's soul into the Shadow Realm to join the others. Yami
no Marik was about to win until Odion regained consciousness and arrived,
allowing the real Marik to reassert control, forcing no Yami Marik out of him.
Marik then forfeited the duel, bringing everyone back from the Shadow Realm and
sealing the bodyless Yami no Marik in it.

Those who have come across Malik Ishtar would probably label him as a "deranged maniac". He's "evil", wishes to take over the world using the egyptian god cards and the pharoah's power, and has that really creepy laugh thing going on. He's definitely someone most people would avoid.
However, measuring by the insane scale, Yami Malik is much much worse. He first appeared and took over Malik's body when Rishid [Odion] was hurt, and since then had been growing darker within the real Malik. A flame of loathing for the world burns inside his soul. Yami Malik's only goal is to destroy the world in order to build one of his very own. He is all the hurt, anger, violence, darkness, and longing for revenge that poisoned the real Malik, bundled into a new, more frightening being.
Yami Malik cares for no one. He doesn't even care about Malik, of whom he even used as his "sacrifice" during his battle with Yami Yuugi.
Despite this, I do not believe that Yami Malik should be hated. After all, what spawned him? The selfishness and boundaries of humans. The hurt and anger and betrayed trust. He is a hard to understand figure, yes, and yet if you think about it - he is a very accurate icon of the uglier side of life no one really wants to know about.
UNSTABLE was the name chosen by Loika when she
originally opens the fanlisting. When she adopted it to me in April 2008 I kept
the name since I think it is perfect for YAMI no MALIK. I can't thank
Loika enough for letting me take care of YAMI NO MALIK. You made a dream
